Barrett Builders, Inc. uses ICF (insulated concrete forms) basements for continuation of their energy efficient homes because they are super-insulated which provides for warm and comfortable basements. By using these systems we are able to build a home much faster than conventional stick framing.

Barrett Builders, Inc. has built “Energy Star for Homes” and is proud to contribute in reducing pollution through energy efficiency. The criteria for “Energy Star for Homes” by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency declares that at least 30% less energy for heating, cooling and water heating than comparables homes built to the Model Energy Code must be achieved.
